World Tour: London-Regatta II signed limited edition silkscreen print with glazes by British pop art legend Sir Peter Blake. This Regatta, reminds us that the Thames was the life-force running through London, a throughfare that would be used by a huge variety of different vessels for endless purposes. Blake stretches that idea to its limit by jamming a gargantuan steamliner into the river. However, his choice of vessels and characters though mismatched and unexpected, in fact represents most of the human uses of the river/sea: transport, leisure, sport, industry, tourism, war, policing etc. Countering this hive of energy and movement sits the grand dome of St. Paul's Cathedral.

Blake's London images reflect the British love affair with boats and sailing.
